Edgard-Frankignoul-Award

The Edgard Frankignoul Award has been presented at the Braunschweig Pile Symposium since 2007. This award recognises outstanding achievements by students and young engineers in the field of piles and pile foundations. The promotion of young talents in the important field of pile foundations has long been a relevant concern for Stump-Franki. That is why Stump-Franki not only support the prize winners monetarily, but also offer them a platform with the Braunschweig Pile Symposium to share their findings with the professional world.

Current and former students and young engineers from universities, technical colleges or universities of applied sciences can participate in the competition. 

A total of three promotional prizes worth €7,000 will be awarded. The promotional prizes honour practical/technical work and / or scientific/theoretical work that deals with the diverse field of pile foundations and that is not older than five years at the time of application.

The 10th Edgard Frankignoul Promotion Prize is expected to be awarded again in 2025.
